Yasmin Ahmad has passed away...
This is really a shock news for me, and also the rest of the world who know Yasmin. I felt so sad for the moment got the news of her death. As in my memory, I've met with her during an academy awards organized by FINAS. I represented Mui & Seng Tat to attend the ceremony and receive the awards, together with James. When Yasmin and her friend came to the table which specially for award-listed directors (which I was sitting), I've got excited seeing her. "Oh my god! I've see Yasmin! Right in front of me!", screaming at the bottom of my heart. I'm just sitting there and thinking if I should go and say "hello". Just right at the 1st second of my thought, Yasmin had approached me. "Hello! I'm Yasmin! How are you?....Oh...You are representing Chui Mui & Tat to receive the awards?..."...So, we had chat for a second, which a famous and talented director started the conversation with her friendly approach. I felt so warm. I was so surprise. This is the 1st time, and also the only once I see her.
Yasmin, thank you for your kindness & the great stories you had brought to us. I'll remember you forever. And as James said, "Goodbye...for this life." We shall meet in the after life.
